Born and raised near Chicago but I am not suited for city life so I live in the Colombian mountains.
I want my students to be confident in their English as well as their ability to negotiate, debate and be generally charming.  I try to teach through clear communication and conversation.
Grammar is boring and most of us Americans don’t know how to use it anyway.  With me we can tap into my years of both teaching and life experience to learn how to talk to each other in engaging ways.
If we can’t find something interesting to talk about then we are drunk or sleeping.  I look forward to meeting you in class.
